According to scientific research, there are five official levels of boredom. Here is the breakdown before you completely pass out:
* Level 1: Indifferent. You are relaxed, calm, and utterly unbothered. Think of a cat staring blankly at a wall, blending seamlessly into the furniture.
* Level 2: Calibrating. Your mind begins to wander, daydreaming about random things. You are open to distractions but too lazy to actually get up and look for them.
* Level 3: Searching. The restlessness sets in. You find yourself aggressively pacing, opening and closing the refrigerator doors expecting new food to magically appear, or scrolling past the same social media feed for the fourth time.
* Level 4: Reactant. You are now actively angry at the universe for being so dull. You want to escape the situation immediately, treating a boring meeting or lecture like a hostage scenario.
* Level 5: Apathetic. The final stage. A total, flatline stupor resembling a deep hibernation. You have accepted your fate, your soul has left your body, and you are now counting the individual textures on the ceiling.
